Xaviera Altena is a young illustrator from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Her style is inspired by the pop culture of the 90's, and is defined as Ligne clair with a dash of pop art.

Xaviera grew up in a very diverse area of her city with different cultures. Since she was young she has been drawing stories on paper, comics about life stories that transcribe the cultural diversity in which she grew up. This is reflected in the way she carries messages through her art. She wants to make this world a little bit more colorful and show what the world looks like through someone else's eyes.

Her art is inspired by women and their resilience, other people's art, news stories, food, cultural traditions and other colorful things.
