Blandine grew up in the Basque Country and lived four years in Africa. His colorful and sunny illustrations pay homage to his native region. His drawings are naive and tender, celebrating the joy of life, the sea and the sun. His characters and landscapes are entirely composed of bright colors, without details and there are never more than three or four colors. Its colors never touch, thanks to the white contours that it adds around each solid color and which are made with a small recognizable touch.
"The colors embellish a room, a place but also a day! "
